God is in Your Story
Every person has a story, and every story is an opportunity to see God at work. A testimony is simply sharing what God has done in your life, and how He has brought hope, healing, freedom, restoration, or carried you through a difficult season. Some testimonies are big, life-changing moments, while others are found in the quiet ways God shows His faithfulness every day.
We share these stories not to celebrate what we have done, but to give glory to what God has done. Our hope is that as you read the testimonies of people within our church family, you will be encouraged, reminded that you are not alone, and inspired to trust God with your own story.
Because when we share our stories, we get to tell His story.

“My elderly mom became very sick with a cough and cold. Within days her conditioned worsened. She was taken to the hospital, placed on oxygen, and eventually became unconcious. Although doctors recommended hospice, we continued to pray and trust that the Holy Spirit was guiding us not to give up.
After several days, my mom began opening her eyes and was soon able to speak again. With the Lord's help, she continued to recover and eventually returned to eating solid food. We praise God for this mircale and are so thankful for everyone who prayed"

"As a single mom working a minimum-wage, part-time job, I struggled every month to provide for my daughter and keep a roof over our heads. When my pastor taught about tithing, I wanted to be obedient to God, but I was afriad that giving my 10% would leave me unable to pay rent. After speaking with my pastor, I chose to step out in faith, pay my tithe, and trust God to provide.
That month, my pastor helped with what I needed for rent, and from then on, God continued to provide. My daughter and I never went without food, never had out utilities turned off, and never struggled to pay our rent. God saw my desire to be obedient, and He has never failed me."

“God was good to me even before I truly knew Him. I grew up knowing about God and was baptized at 11. As I got older, I believed I was already good with God because I went to church and considered myself a good person. One Sunday, however, a message about our sinful nature and the need for repentance touched me deeply. I relaized that I needed God's forgiveness and surrendered my life to Christ.
I was baptized again with a new understanding of what it meant, and three days later, on my birthday, I recieved the gift of the Holy Spirit and spoke in tounges for the first time. ”

"I grew up in a Christian home and attended church, but I eventually learned that faith had to become my own. At 34, while going through a divorce, I found out I was pregnant. I felt devastated, depressed, and angry, beliveing I would be raising my child alone. But in the middle of that difficult season, God met me and showed me that I was not alone.
Through the birth of my daughter, I experienced God's love in a completely new way. Becoming her mother gave me a deeper understanding of His unconditional love and reminded me that He had never left me. My life has its ups and downs, but God has continiously given me the strength and grace to raise my daughter."

“I remember recieving the phone call no mother ever wants to recieve: "Ma'am. your son is dead." I was in shock and disbelief, but during those painful days, I felt the prayers of others helping me cope. For years, I wondered why I had never completely broken down from the grief. The pain was there, but somehow I continued to stand.
Then God helped me understand why. Like the message in Footprints in the Sand, when I was too weak to walk on my own, Jesus was carrying me. His hand covered me through the deepest pain of losing my son and gave me the strength when I had none of my own. Looking back, I know He was with me the entire time.”
